Cathedral Cave Tour
Come out to the Caves for our most popular tour! No booking is required with 7 guaranteed tours per day every hour from 9am to 4pm. A leisurely walk through 9 caves, and leaves you with lasting memories of ancient geology and history. An exciting way to end the tour is navigate your way through the zig zag passage, its a real adventure! After your tour relax in the kiosk with a devonshire tea & scones or one of our infamous cave burgers!

Mt Archer Canopy Walk
Pack up a picnic and make the trek up Mt Archer, enjoy the new Canopy walk. After the short walk unpack a picnic lunch and enjoy the glorious view over CQ. There are several walks at Mr Archer depending on your fitness, some suitable for children, all with beautiful views.

The new Yeppoon lagoon
The picturesque lagoon at Yeppoon has only been opened a few short months, making this a must see attraction. Its the perfect place to enjoy the winter sun, with a picnic rug spread and fish and chips from the local cafe

There are a number of walks in varying difficulties and duration in the Byfield national forest. Depending on your fitness and ability of that of you and the children you take, choose a path that best suits your requirements. There are lovely walks along the waterway with beautiful views!

Picnic at Mt Morgan dam
This would have to be one of CQ’s best kept secrets! The stunning Mt Morgan dam with massive undercover children’s play area and BBQ plates and picnic tables. The dam is a great spot to take up the kayaks. You can pack up a BBQ lunch or drop in past the Mt Morgan bakery for one of the amazing pies!
