Absolutely stunning We visited Capricorn Caves whilst staying at Yeppoon, approx 40min drive. We opted for the Cathedral Cave morning tour. Our guide was Peter who was very knowledgeable and provided informative details about the caves. The walk is not too strenuous, although can be slippery in some places. The cathedral cave itself is charming with small thumb size bats flying above. Whilst sitting in the cathedral, they turn the lights off and have the song hallelujah play, the sound is beautiful! At the end of the walk there is a small zigzag lower (shoulder height) exit to the sway bridges or like me you can opt out of this exit (slightly claustrophobic) and take the way of entry back out. There is a small gift shop and cafe at the check in area, it was nice to visit.

Claire was the best tour guide I recently went on a tour of the cathedral with Claire, and she was absolutely excellent! Her knowledge of the caves and the surrounding areas was outstanding. There were some kids on the tour, and she answered all of their questions with ease and patience. Claire made the experience informative and enjoyable for everyone. Highly recommend!

Scintillating cave tour THis tour was amazing. the limestone caves were beautiful . Loved the cathedral tour . Guide was very knowledgeable and informative.

Tha e adventure tour The daughter picked the tour we were going on and was extremely happy with the experience. We went through some pretty tight spots and was well worth doing. The daughter loved the adventure too.

Great family experience The staff were very helpful and friendly. Great display of historic items and natural things. The guide was very informative and the cathedral was a great experience. Would love to hear Disturbed’s version of Sounds of Silence.

Capricorn Caves - Cathedral Acoustics The caves were quite a treat to walk through with its lovely ambient temperature & collection of micro bats. Candice did a great job guiding everyone through as well.

It was nice to bring my classical guitar and play in the Cathedral room - enjoy!

Amazing tour We Absolutely loved this tour. The caves were amazing and the tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend it.

This is a must do tour We had a fabulous time yesterday doing this tour. How beautiful is this place, what a hidden gem. If you have driven past this you need to stop and take advantage of this place. We plan to return and do the other two tours that are available. We stayed at the Caves and the cabin was fantastic. We loved everything.
